Our aim at LeoKop Farm is to produce the best quality products in South Africa. To do this we’re rearing our animals naturally (without antibiotics or added hormones) and in the most humane way possible.
We only deal directly with customers, and not through shops, because we’d like your direct feedback (positive and negative) so that we can make our products better. By dealing directly with you we’re also able to cut out the middle men who take their cut for doing very little. This way we can supply you with the best quality products normally for less than at the supermarkets.
We’ve started with poultry because we’ve “been there” before but this time we’ve decided to do it differently. Our broilers spend the first 3 weeks in brooder houses where we’re able to regulate the temperatures. The chicks need this help until they get their feathers.
After the initial 3 week brooding period the chickens are transferred to chicken tractors where they get to grow up on fresh grass pastures, sheltered from the weather and predators.

We’d just like to remind you that it’s not necessary to actually use our pricelist form to order – a simple email with what you need is best.
For those of you who haven’t had chicken from us before the procedure is that you send in an order and we’ll confirm the order with an expected delivery date. If you’re happy with that we go ahead and put your order into the production plan. When your order is ready we’ll let you know the exact delivery date and we’ll ask you for a delivery address. We’ll deliver anywhere in Gauteng and KZN (north of the N3 at this stage), all we ask is that there will be someone to receive the order and put it into the freezer on delivery. Payment can be made in cash (on delivery) or via internet banking.
